5 Compelling Reasons To Update Your Website Now.

April 28th, 2011

Technology changes quickly on the Web. If you haven’t updated your website in the last year, you’re likely missing out on traffic, customers, social marketing opportunities, and much more. Here are our top five reasons to get your website up-to-speed today:

1. Higher Search Engine Ranking.
Search engines are the No. 1 way your prospects find you. But if your website isn’t designed, coded, and optimized to rank high in searches, those potential customers simply won’t find you.

2. More Traffic.
Indexing, external links, e-mail marketing, strategic campaigns, and more, all add up to improving visitor rates and increasing your site’s return on investment.

3. Better Visitor Experience.
A logical flow and clear path to your information results in more page visits, more time spent on your site, and more satisfied visitors.

4. Easier Maintenance.
Updating your site with current information, blog posts, or news doesn’t have to leave you at the mercy of your Internet provider. A content management system makes it easy to update your site on your own.

5. Social Network Connectivity.
Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are now integral to the business world and key to boosting your exposure, credibility, and ability to reach new and current customers.

How To Get 18,000 Facebook ‘Likes’ In 3 Days.

April 14th, 2011

How did Tampico Spice Company of Los Angeles obtain 18,000 Facebook ‘Likes’ in just 3 days? And why does this matter for their Internet presence?

First, a little on why this is significant for Tampico’s social networking marketing efforts.  As a Facebook page receives more visitors and more ‘Likes’ it is awarded additional validity by search engines. As its value increases your page will rank higher in online searches driving more traffic to your Facebook and website pages.

So with the intent of increasing their FB ‘Likes’, Tampico Spice Company returned once again to SoCal WebWorx to assist with the task.  SoCal WebWorx developed a Facebook Promo Reveal Tab.  The Facebook Reveal Tab requires that viewers click ‘Like’ before the free offer is available.   No Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Ads were run, as the offer quickly went viral and has received over 18,000 new ‘likes’ in the past 3 days. Needless to say Tampico Spice Company is thrilled with the results!  Their FB ‘Likes’ having gone from 246 to 18,250 within a week.

If you’ve been working hard to increase visits to your company Facebook page you can appreciate what a success story this is for Tampico Spice and SoCal WebWorx.  You can view the Facebook Promo here:  https://www.facebook.com/TampicoSpiceCo?sk=app_4949752878

Cinderella Hair Launches Website Facelift

April 6th, 2011

Cinderella Hair of Los Angeles is one of the nations largest providers of quality hair extension systems and hair extension training seminars. Although well know and highly respected amongst licensed cosmetologists, Cinderella Hair wanted to reach out to the industry with a newer youthful look and an expanded line of human hair extensions and supplies.

Along the way numerous upgrades were made to the on-line shopping cart and product gallery pages.  The website was streamlined for easier product sorting and convenient customer ordering.  And the drop-down menus were re-organized and expanded to accommodate Cinderella Hair’s growing line of products.

SoCal WebWorx has been working with Cinderella Hair for almost two years on an ongoing basis. Services rendered include programming changes, debugging existing on-line cart problems, platform upgrades, search engine optimization, navigation and design improvements to the company’s two websites.
